Getting hurt in the past may prevent us from opening ourselves to others. Invisible walls are formed in front of us as a defense from being hurt. But then again, how can we love and be loved back if we don’t take a risk. Trying again isn’t hard. Getting hurt again with the same reason is the primary concern why we back off. But it’s not always going to be the same. Life is simply unpredictable and we cannot get the answers to our questions if we don’t take a risk. We’ll only end up regretful. Broken hearts can be mended.

Went Window Shopping
Been to the mall this afternoon and went window shopping. I was looking for a new pair shoes and for a pants but sad to say, I haven’t seen one for me. I ended up buying a nail polish from Skin Food. I roamed around the mall and surprisingly, there were a lot of new shops opened. It was way long enough since I visited that particular mall. I went inside a shop which sells various accessories. Their products were appealing but pricey. Their shop was inviting and their Seagull lighting was very appealing to the customers. Perhaps it’s one lucky charm for them that invites walk in customers in their shop.

Pharmacologically Speaking
There are so many drugs out there, so many generics and branded ones to remember. But in the operating room, the most common drugs that’s used are the anesthetics, antibiotics and pain relievers. Still, there are a number of them and I can’t memorize them all. We have to rely on our ever MIMS book for reference especially with the side effects and adverse to watch out for. This isn’t like diet pills that even on a sitting you know what the side effects of diet pills are.

Hanging Out At Our Friend’s Pad
Went out with friends after my PM duty and off we went to a local bar. Drank some vodka and ate some “kinilaw” and donut. After which we decided to go to our friend’s pad since he was inviting us over to have a taste of his favourite drink, Goldshlagger. It was one strong drink with a cinnamon after taste. The cinnamon made the drink yummy plus the edible gold particles beneath made it even more appealing. We all had a good time in his pad. A studio type furnished with modern furnitures fit for a bachelor like him. One friend of ours and I took a nap in his modern bedroom furniture. That was one good time to remember.

Hate Is Such A Strong Word
Hate is such a strong word. It is an intense feeling of dislike. Sometimes, we hate someone whom we really loved. But shows hatred instead to disguise our love for someone. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.
But being hated can leave an emotional scar. More often than not, it’s hard to take the word back.

My Brother’s Dilemma
At the age of early 20′s. my brother is envying other men who have thick hair. I don’t know what’s his fuss about it but he just wanted to have a thick hair. Though he’s not on his way to baldness though but because of that wantedness, he bought a hair shampoo for the horse. It was said to help make hair grows thicker and shinier just like other hair loss products for men. It’s nice scented too and from time to time I also use it. Shhh…

Beauty Talk
Meal time is usually the bonding time for us in our work. We talked about anything and everything and it’s fun to be able to mingle with my work mates. Just last week, while having dinner, my colleague and I discussed about the types of facial skins. She mentioned she’s not prone to having pimples since she has a dry face. While her brother is oily that is why the latter usually visits his dermatologist whenever he visits home to have his facial. He may be prone to pimples but oily skin aren’t prone to wrinkles and so using any best anti wrinkle eye cream isn’t that necessary. Hmm…it was some advantage I guess for oily skin people like me.

Loving The Beach
The experience last Sunday was so much fun that I still have a hang over from that event. Although we were a big group but I guess most of us did enjoyed and got to bond with one another. A group went addicted to playing poker inside our boat with their ala partagas cigarettes , the others were busy capturing photos, some were having their drinking spree while most of us were out playing in the water under the scorching heat of the sun. Nevertheless, it was all fun!

A Day To Remember
Last Sunday was one of my days to remember. It was the first time I tagged along the OR outing wherein majority of the OR staff were present. We went island hopping along Samal Island and the experience was fun! Who could not bear to have fun when all your companions were childlike at that time, enjoying the dive even though most of us didnt how to swim and just depended on our life vest. The water was inviting and who could resist the temptation of diving? The view was relaxing and great! Here’s one photo a friend of ours took in of our destinations.

Getting Ready for Tomorrow’s Affair
I thought I might not get to join tomorrow’s outing since I got no moolah in hand. Need to wait for my next salary which I hope will be released early this week. Anyway, my brother is kind enough to lend me some money with matching 10% interest. Whoa! Gotta buy it then than receive nothing, right? And so now, my excitement has returned in anticipation of tomorrow’s activities. Need not to forget my sunblock and my favorite soap. It might not be the best acne facewash, but for me it’s already the best since it helps prevent zits and best of all it whitens my skin. That’s why I’m still loyal to it. Gotta get back packing my things now!
