Battling Out The Rapid
I so longed to try river rafting and just last Sunday that dream came to reality. It was a team building activity and everybody were excited and at the same time nervous as majority of us were first timers. Upon arriving at the drop off point, we spent a few minutes to listen to our guide for some pointers especially on how to do the defensive swimming and how to rescue. The water in the river was ideal for rafting as it was in above average level since it was raining lately and early morning at that day.
We were rafting for about 3 hours and have to surpass about 26 rapids. One of the rapids we passed through was called the “Drop and Suck” wherein one group got their raft capsized, leaving them with a near death experience. In general it was a very exhilarating experience for us all and we definitely enjoyed the adventure! What made it even more fun was being with people who were also fun to be with and very competitive too.
