Imagining Myself Being Pregnant

Later part of this year, will be my birthday. I’m getting older and yet I’m still single. Hehe. Though I am happy being single currently, I still thought of getting married especially now that I am starting to hit my late 20s. There are fantasies once in awhile of me in a married life and what it’s like running a family. Even thought of me being pregnant and gaining undesirable weight especially with taking prenatal vitamins. What would I look like? I suppose it would be unlikable. It’s funny how I imagine these things these days and I even find it entertaining.

The Complications Of Learning A New Sport

Learning a new sport is fun! But without proper preparations and exercise may lead to a serious muscle pains. Hehe! Got a chance to learn wakeboarding with my colleagues and we all had a great time! Since we’re new to it, we first tried the kneeboard intended for beginners like us. Although there’s a feeling of fear when you’re riding the board but if you overcome it and managed to take a turn around the park, it’s satisfying and addictive. The downside of too much thrill is we all got muscle pains, and until now, we’re still suffering from it. We all got bloopers in our workfield due to our being temporarily handicapped. Oh well, looking at the bright side, at least we only got muscle aches and not joint pain. I think the latter is undesirable.

My One Sad Case

I had this patient on STAT Explorative Laparotomy during my night shift. She has been complaining of sudden abdominal pain. The doctor’s who assessed her considered some intestinal obstruction and had her to undergo a surgical procedure to determine what’s wrong inside her abdomen. True enough, it was an advanced stage of colon cancer. That was one sad case I handled and I empathized with her and her family as well.

As early as now, we should do some annual check up and eat fibrous foods to help cleanse our colon. There are now several ways to cleanse the colon and you can find some colon cleanser reviews online for some details.

Bedding’s Allergy

For sometime now, I noticed how I have skin itchiness frequently. Thought it was due to my soap that causes drying of the skin. Even thought that perhaps the work area I’m in is full of bacteria that makes my skin reactive to it. There’s also a hint that it may be caused to allergy bedding. I remembered that one cause of allergy bedding is due to the presence of bed mites on it. Will try to change my beddings often and see if there’s still itchiness felt.

Skin Breakouts

For almost a week of going home late, I developed zits again. It’s so annoying when I am experiencing skin breakouts. Will any best acne treatment works if the triggering factor is your lifestyle already? Hopefully after tomorrow, I’ll get back to my normal sleeping regime and prevents from more breakouts to come. And I also hope I won’t go on straight morning duties again. I’m having a hard time waking up so early and sleeping early.

I’m Having Age Spots!

What are age spots? According to wikipedia, these are blemishes on the skin associated with ageing and exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun.

Someone just asked if I am using any whitenings because he noticed that I have discolorations on some parts of my face. That’s one effect of not wearing any sunblock everyday especially that I am using whitening products. My face isn’t protected from the harmful rays of the sun and outcome of it is age spots. Geez, I got so worried and bought a toner and a moisturizer with spf in the market right after our conversation. Needs to buy a good sunblock as well.

Organic Products

We were just talking about organic products. My friend brought the cold wax I ordered from her. It’s made of organic products and swear it helps thin out her unwanted hairs. She also mentioned other products that their company sells and I wanted to try their sunblock with zinc. Zinc is said to help combat acne according to her and I think I really needed that. Anyways, there are other acne products out there. Go click here if you want to check one of them out.

Milk Shake That Loses Weight

There are a lot of weight loss products that are out in the market today. And one those is the milk shake. One friend suggested to me that milk shake is one weight loss drinks in the market today and she is even using it. Even if she’s having her duty she drinks it. It’s not one of those products that you have to go to the rest room every now and then which I dislike the most. It only helps her crave less. Thus, she eats only a little and drinks a lot of water. Maybe that’s why she’s not gaining weight.

Brisk Walking

Is brisk walking considered to be one of the fat burners? Maybe on a little note, but still it helps get you sweat, right? We are constantly walking around our unit especially if you are a circulating nurse. I was hoping it could help lose weight but sad to say my legs were still fat! Don’t know why. It should have been firmer now but I don’t think it is.

Eavesdropping

During our duty, I came to a point where I have nothing to do and just hung out in our recovery room. I was making an operating sponge while some of my co-workers where talking about losing weight. I was eavesdropping at first and later joined their conversation. One colleague recommended one product, I think it was apidexin if I heard her right. Anyways, she said it helped suppressed her appetite and that she no longer craves for food. Hmm. It was a convincing factor as I am always craving for food especially in our unit where food is abundant.
