Is brisk walking considered to be one of the fat burners? Maybe on a little note, but still it helps get you sweat, right? We are constantly walking around our unit especially if you are a circulating nurse. I was hoping it could help lose weight but sad to say my legs were still fat! Don’t know why. It should have been firmer now but I don’t think it is.

Eavesdropping
During our duty, I came to a point where I have nothing to do and just hung out in our recovery room. I was making an operating sponge while some of my co-workers where talking about losing weight. I was eavesdropping at first and later joined their conversation. One colleague recommended one product, I think it was apidexin if I heard her right. Anyways, she said it helped suppressed her appetite and that she no longer craves for food. Hmm. It was a convincing factor as I am always craving for food especially in our unit where food is abundant.

Electric Smoking A New Fad
Currently the local health office is suggesting to the different cigarette companies to place a picture of a cancered lung in their cigarettes packaging. True enough, cigarette smoking is one factor that leads to various diseases. I saw one billboard along the highway illustrating the effects of smoking on our body. It’s an awful and scary picture. Hope every smoker can be encouraged to quit smoking from it.
Sad to say, there are some people who really is into smoking and can’t get to quit from it. This, I guess gave other companies to invent a type of cigarette that they can use minus the adverse effects of nicotine, the electric cigarette. It claims that it’s body system friendly. It’s starting to be a fad nowadays and very salable to smokers out there.

Preventing Hair Loss
Elders said that regular shampooing of the hair is one factor that can lead to hair loss. Is it a fact or fallacy?
Many people are now suffering from hair loss. Even I is worried about it. I don’t want to grow bald! And as much as possible I brushed my hair gently. Still, I can see some hair loss in my hair brush. Now, how to prevent hair loss?
There are certain products nowadays that help prevents hair loss. Also it is a wise idea to visit your dermatologist for some consultation. Others also recommend putting aloe vera on your hair scalp for a certain minute then rinse it off. And since there are a number of aloe vera plants in our backyard, I think I’ll have to try that first.

Watching Movies
It was a “Lion King” spree for us at home yesterday. The movie was aired on TV. “Lion King” is one of my favorite cartoons at all times. I remember back then when I first watched it with my family in the cinema, I can’t help but cry with the misfortune of Simba, especially when his father died. I was happy my 3-year old nephew got to watched it yesterday and he had fun watching it as well. He can’t hide the smiles and laughters in his face while watching it. I wonder, if we always watch movies together at home, that will make us a slouch potato, right? If all we do is do movie marathon. And I don’t think any most effective diet pills will be useful if we gain weight. Haha. Good thing we rarely spend time at home together due to my busy schedule.

Laughing Out Loud
What are ways to relieve you from stress? I guess you’ll have many to mention, huh? I know there are a lot of ways to destress but do you know that laughing is also one way of relieving stress? Maybe that’s why there’s a saying that goes like this, “laughing is the best medicine“. Aside from that, it might not be the best fat burning exercise we have but it also help burn calories. So laugh your heart out!

A Night To Detoxify
It was one fun friday night last week. My friends at work decided to hang out and chill and we chose to stay in one of our friend’s condo unit. We took advantage of the fact that the building isn’t fully occupied yet and no neighbors would go get the attention of the guards to silence us off. The drinks we had were kind of a hard liquors and most of us felt tipsy after. Good thing, no one got hyperventilated or had difficulty breathing so no need for spirometers to strengthen our lung muscles. LOL.

Pharmacologically Speaking
There are so many drugs out there, so many generics and branded ones to remember. But in the operating room, the most common drugs that’s used are the anesthetics, antibiotics and pain relievers. Still, there are a number of them and I can’t memorize them all. We have to rely on our ever MIMS book for reference especially with the side effects and adverse to watch out for. This isn’t like diet pills that even on a sitting you know what the side effects of diet pills are.

Getting Ready for Tomorrow’s Affair
I thought I might not get to join tomorrow’s outing since I got no moolah in hand. Need to wait for my next salary which I hope will be released early this week. Anyway, my brother is kind enough to lend me some money with matching 10% interest. Whoa! Gotta buy it then than receive nothing, right? And so now, my excitement has returned in anticipation of tomorrow’s activities. Need not to forget my sunblock and my favorite soap. It might not be the best acne facewash, but for me it’s already the best since it helps prevent zits and best of all it whitens my skin. That’s why I’m still loyal to it. Gotta get back packing my things now!

Growing Old
Time flies so fast. And yet, there are still a lot of things I want to do in my life. As time goes on, things got too complicated and stressful. I guess this is how adult’s life is. Got to deal with it then. But then, with all these stressors in life, I think it adds up to looking stressed. I don’t want to have that kind of personality. I still want to look young and fresh. Seeing my premature wrinkles around my eyes and mouth as well as my quite saggy arms are already alarming to me. Been reading some muscle milk reviews, perhaps I do need one. Needs to moisturize often too. Hays, growing old is stressful.
