You know how grateful I am for the person who invented this Retail POS System? Buying in grocery stores are faster this time. You don’t have to wait for several hours in a long line for your turn to reach the cashier. This system made every transactions efficiently and faster. I used to hate going to grocery stores before as I remember how my feet would hurt standing in long line for hours. Indeed, technology makes our life easier.

Staying Connected

Presently, staying connected on the internet is one of the essential things in my list. Not because I’m addicted to it, but because I am in a long distance relationship. Connecting with my beau online is our main communication with each other. That is the reason why having an internet mobile, such as an ipod touch 8g comes in handy for me. Hopefully someone would give me one this holiday season.

Duplicating CD

Our CD/DVD rewriter’s not functioning as of now and I have to look for a shop that offers cd duplication for my stored photos. I need to give copies to my friends. This would be a good Christmas gift. Hopefully I could find one and finish it before the Christmas comes. There are some who even make good CD/DVD covers if you have our cd duplicated through them.

Groceries

Normally, every other week after work, I do some grocery shopping since my work is near a mall. I usually buy my wheat bread and juice there and I hate it when I have to fall in line waiting for my turn in the cashier. Especially if I only have these few goods to buy. Good thing is that, the grocery has an upgraded Retail System which makes the work faster and efficient. I and even though I’m waiting from a long line, the wait wouldn’t took me an hour to have my turn.

Email Attachments

I find it tedious and time consuming downloading email attachments in PDF format. I don’t even like reading a PDF file. But when I discovered pdf page counter, it made everything so organized. I don’t have to download it all over again. I even have a file folder for those PDFs. I runs quickly and efficiently too. It is so handy and functional especially if you engaged in an online jobs like me.

Uncompatible Scanner

There were documents that I needed to scan so I could send it through email. I was in a rush at that moment but my scanner wasn’t functioning. At first, I didn’t know what the problem was since it’s printing well from my computer, but the scanner doesn’t work. Tried looking for an instructions online for troubleshooting to no avail. It turns out, it’s not compatible with my OS, so my brother needs to reformat it to another software where it’s compatible. So heeded his help and off we went to an internet cafe where it offers a document scanning services and had my documents scanned.

Bills…bills…bills! There are a lot of them that I need to trace down and pay on time. And because I’m working, it’s kind of tiring for me to go to their office personally to pay my bills. I have to fall in line and wait for my turn. Good thing I can pay directly online. Since I discovered such service, I pay all my bills electronically since my bank is accepting electronic payments with no additional service charge. It’s very convenient and I have no reason to forget paying on time.

I was surfing online to loo for a good earphones. I was planning to buy one. I was eyeing on dr. dre’s beats when I stumbled on this site selling lapel pins. Suddenly, I remember the lapels used inside the Pinoy Big Brother House. And now I think about it, when will be the next Pinoy Big Brother season will take place? I am looking forward to the design of the new Pinoy Big Brother House and it’s borders.

Watching Miss Universe 2011

My family and I were patiently watching the Miss Universe 2011 yesterday on a local network. Apparently the local network aired the show quite late than the usual. And so I watched the live streaming over the internet. I told then my parents that we should go buy network cable for us to enjoy watching events such as these together. The thrill diminishes since we already knew the result ahead than aired scenes from our local network.
